Self inflating mattresses - Health hazard?

Just a guess but it may be a way to avoid the requirements for flame
retardence and labelling of such for soft furnishings under The
Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.

None at all. I've got a couple and bought a new one today
because I prefer them to the more expensive back-packing light
weight variety. Outside use only? Where else? I was
baffled.

None at all. I've got a couple and bought a new one today

Indoors for guests instead of those horrible cold pump up things.

But - in the case of the ones from Lidl - not for backpacking.
I don't backpack; I love mine.
