So did anyone get their moment of fame? Ch31 reception sucks at my house
so I could barely see the bikes, let alone who was riding them. And I
had to watch it on a busted TV (the only one that gets 31) which turns
itself off every 5 mins. Bring on the TV stocktake sales.

Same, my reception is useless... still a good watch.. Kew crits on TV was
awesome to see.. next time we need some top down chopper vision!

Nup. Didn't get my moment 🙁 . Looks like they just showed coverage from the week before I started racing there (i.e when the girl was there with the helmet cam). Good stuff anyway. I reckon this can definitely be built on.

yeah, that's what i was thinkin. maybe after seeing the vision from the first week from helmet-cam (with tri-bars!@$#@#!!!!) they thawt going back and getting some footage that would make more sense might be an idea.
I was gettin seasick after watchin all the helmet cam from that, his commute and the dirt-crits.
Think i spotted Ess there a couple of times and lots of familiar faces/jerseys and the lads talking afterwards. Funny, seeing it on screen that hill didnt seem to exist ! 😄

maybe we could shoot some helmet cam on a BR and give it to em?

Yep that was me hehe, watched it this morning. I agree with ya, I didn't realise Kew was such a flat course! Dutch were you racing that day or preparing for the week after?

i cant remember. i think i didnt. and if i did i musta been in the middle somewhere (ie not in shot for helmet-cam at tail nor for cameraman at front 🙄 )

oh well. emailed the makers and told em to come out on a BR for some REAL riding! 😄 RAFLMAO 😄😄

funny, I got my moment of fame, but it wasn't at the Kew Crits, it was during the Kona FGP Westgate MTB Crits. All of about 3 secs I think, that's me- green jersey, white helmet, white framed hardtail going through the witches hats near the end of that segment.

Intrested in that " viewers rides" segment. Whats the deal? Do we have to supply footage or can we 'borrow' their helmet cam for the shots or get them to tag along?
How do I get in touch? Just call the station (channel 31?)?
