why 2 adjusters for the rear gears ?

  1. Can you please open the attached JPG-file ?

    For the rear gear, I have 2 adjusters, one at the lever & another one at the
    derailleur (see attached file).
    Why are there 2 adjusters ..... what's the purpose of both ?

    They do the same. Use the back one for rougher adjustments, and use the one
    at the lever to adjust while riding.
