2 brake cables on one lever. Advice needed

There are levers made for tandems that use two cables. Any tandem specialist will have them.

Works OK on my tandem, with a longer rear cable than on a recumbent, so you should be OK for
what you want.

Anyone selling tandem parts will probably be able to supply suitable dual pull levers.

I have used this device on my bike. See: jrees.netLeftyOpen ↗ for pictures. I have only a partial
right hand, and cannot use STI levers. In this application, I have the front brake be the straight
through cable, and the rear attaches (inside the gizmo) to the front cable. I have it biased so the
front touches the rim first. Works great for me. John Rees
