No, they haven't lost their jobs. The "Peace Dividend" scared the [censored] out of the military industrial complex so they came up with the great idea of having the US take over the world. That would be Cheney&Rumsfeld's Project for a New American Century. Plenty of weapons to build and we can even start building space weaponry. Think of the profits to be made.
