Cant resist.
Ive had mine 2 months and I LOVE IT!

New handle bars / seat! tell me .I've had my Brompton L6 for about 2x
months' now. I had a luggage rack fitted , which has two wheels on the end
of the rack which means that when you fold up the bike you can trundle it
along like a suitcase instead of that small single wheel on the rear
guard, in fact I replaced the rear rack wheels with two skateboard type,
better clearance ...cas

Well yes I did .What happened was that I had only been on it for 30mins in
the park, my first trip, when someone stopped me and said that both he and
his partner had Brompton's and that they had replaced the rack wheels with
skateboard type.the skate shop was the other side of the park so went over
there and brought two wheels going cheap, red ones! and fitted them. I had
to get some longer bolts,so I went to a yacht chandler and got two S/S nuts
bolts I also brought 2/ elastic bungees' to hold any items on the rack.When
the bike is folded you lift the back of the sadle and roll it along with you
any steps you grab the cross bar and lift ok! whats this new brompton seat
and handle bar then?.....cas

I saw Guy C on Monday with his new Brompton. It has a rather nice Brooks
saddle, with 'Made for Brompton' stamped on it...

Yes you can! You do know the side effects of owning one don't you?
Unbearable smugness and the lack of any spare time due to permanently going
"fold, unfold" etc. with a cheesy grin on your face. There is apparently no
known cure. Luckily I've not been able to justify one for myself (or rather
justify one to SWMBO), so I'm currently immune.

sport". Sounds like the "standard" is the same as the previous models,
"sport" is a straight, low bar, and "multiposition" is something wacky.

Brooks saddle..ouch,! no thanks i will keep my big gel sprung type thank
you.One of the problems I get owning a Brompton is that when I stop to sit
down along the sea front in Bournemouth ,and fold the bike into the park
position, people will keep stopping to asked" what sort of bike is that "
and being a smug show off type, I give a demonstration. I could have taken
at least a dozen orders ,I wonder if Brompton's will give me commission on
any recommendations... cas
