  1. Can this be trued up easily or is it trashed? I'll have to ask my LBS but wanted to ask here first. thanks!

  2. It depends on how far out of round it is and how it got that way. If the wheel hit something hard enough to actually yield the rim, it's toast. If it's just a matter of uneven spoke tension, then your LBS should be able to sort it out without any trouble.

    It's not hard to fix but you can't do it the same as an Al wheel. You have to loosen the spokes on the opposite side of the wheel from the high zones as well as tighten the ones under the high zone.

    How is that different from an aluminum rim?
