None of the big boys will call in sick. Autologous transfusions are still
not tested for (unless they decide to use the "experimental" autologous test
and embarrass someone).

So with the added delay on Tyler's case there will have the appearance of
more sucessful use to further put doubt on the the case around false
positves. That is making it look weaker with more in competition data
points to discredit the various Drs that support Tyler's defense.

Organizers of the Tour de France plan to use the same test for illicit
blood transfusions first employed at last year's summer Olympics in
Athens, the French national drug screening laboratory (LNDD) announced
on Thursday...

After Hamilton's and Perez' bust for homologous blood doping, it seems
to me most teams and pros would switch to autologous doping, (their own
blood, withdrawn in the off-season, then added right before competition)
especially since there aren't any tests for it, yet.

Or am I missing something?

If you believe the cynics, what you're missing is that they ARE doing
autololgous doping but in the Hamilton/Perez case the bags got switched.

I emailed the director of Hamilton's foundation asking her if she could
provide Tyler and Santi's blood types. She said they didn't have them.
Presumably, Hamilton knows his. I wonder if the data is part of the
arbitration record.
