I will be interested in the responses you get. I bought a Weber Go Anywhere
Grill (propane gas) and like it a lot. I would like better features (higher
quality grates) and more accessories and a stand but they don't make them
for such a portable grill. I looked at several portable grills and chose
the Weber for name and price and size. I also have a small Weber kettle
grill but usually too strapped for time to cook on it. good luck

Doesn't Weber make the "Q" as well?

here is another small grill I was looking at

  5. If you want charcoal, have a look at the Weber Smoky Joe. Very well made
    and inexpensive.

Also have a look at hibachi's and the korean style grills (kind of looks
    like a large flower pot).

My experience with small propane grills has been poor. They just don't get
hot enough. But I noticed that Weber has a new portable propane
grill--maybe they worked out the bugs.

We've had both charcoal and propane grills. Last year we put in a
natural gas grill that feeds directly off our natural gas line. It is
the best thing we have ever done and you never have to worry about
running out of propane or the charcoal didn't light.

Best in which ways? For lots of folks a three legged table top type
charcoal grill that cost $6, hopefully lasts one summer, and then goes
in the trash is best. For some folks only the latest multi-fuel
stainless steel unit with all the bells and whistles, even flips your
burgers robotically, collapses to fit in your glove compartment, and
costs hundreds will do. So before anyone can say what's best you need
to supply more information including a price range.

    LOL!

Crash once knew a guy who walked out of a Sears store with a canoe over his
head (unpaid-for). No one questioned him because, who would be so bold as
    to steal a canoe?
