Shoot! Crash and I just checked and got the 404 error message, too. Crash
is gonna harass the guy whose server this is, and see if he'll get it
working for us again.

By default, it puts you into a different channel, called #chat. Don't ask

Try efnet.xs4all.nl - that's the one I use most of the time. Still
haven't ever seen anyone in #rec.food.cooking yet.

This is through the internet connection... so I'm not sure how to do
that. Remember, I don't do mIRC - someone with the initials CD was
going to come over to help me, but she pooped out.

In any case, I've managed to find life there in the past, so I think
it's just a matter of me not typing /join+ after I get there...

I'm going to give it another try in a little while - it's 5:47PM right
now (my time).

It'll take me a couple more weeks to get my body clock adjusted to
being on summer vacation. By the time I'm sleeping in regularly,
it'll be time to get back to work again (up at the crack of dawn).
Blah is right! LOL!

BTW: Getting that cute 404 error. I'm tellin' ya, if you've gotta
get a 404 message... this is the one - it's absolutely hysterical!

Oh, yes... since Crash has to talk to the site administrator about the
java link 404 error anyway, can he mention fixing the default since
he's tinkering around?

BTW, sorry I was in-n-out. We have a house full of company this
weekend and someone is going to sleep in my office too. I tried the
web interface real quick and it's easier than using mIRC, I think.

Well... it was fixed the next time I tried and we had a great
conversation... gosh there had to be 6 or 7 of us all at one time -
but the Java interface stopped working again in mid-conversation.
Sorry if you mIRC users thought I took a hike w/o letting the group
know.

LOL! Tell Vex he doesn't have to baby sit us, okeydokey? We only
talked about chicken soup, banana bread, menopause and chemically
altering our hair color... I think he has a filter set up for dirty
words so *chemical* must have triggered it!
