  1. Has anyone amplified the polar HR Monitor/watch alarms. Us somewhat deaf
    persons can't hear the alarms. I thought perhaps in this day and age, a
    miniature mike/amplifier/earphone might be the go, as there doesn't seem to
    be any setting on the watch.

    I couldn't hear the alarm on my polar either when I had receiver on
    my wrist. Putting the receiver on the handlebars brought me ears
    sufficiently closer that the alarm became audible. You may want to
    try doing that.
