Indurain was in a better shape, even Hinault when he ride his last tour for the victory of Lemond was in better condition.

He didn't lose any time on the first 13 km, but lost 4 sec per km on that last climb.

More important, today's performance is no indication for tomorrow's. Lance might just take 3 minutes out of Jan tomorrow (even though I don't see and certainly don't hope he does) or win the final ITT.

No, but I can tell you his first tour was in 1985 and chances are he didn't miss a single one between until 1996!

He won 2 TTs and a road stage in 1989. In 1986 we won at Superbagneres. Nothing in 1990.
