I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

Looked like an instinctive reaction, nothing in it for the commisaires
    to worry about I think.

McEwen dropped to 186th place for the stage.

This long distance dedication goes out to Stuart O'Grady from Robbie
    McEwen.......

Put Your Head On My Shoulder

    By Paul Anka

Put your head on my shoulder
Hold me in your arms, baby
    Squeeze me oh so tight
Show me that you love me too

Put your lips next to mine, dear
Won't you kiss me once, baby
Just a kiss goodnight, may be
You and I will fall in love

People say that love's a game
A game you just can't win
    If there's a way
    I'll find it somebody
And then this fool with rush in

Put your head on my shoulder
    Whisper in my ear, baby
    Words I want to hear
Tell me, tell me that you love me too.

Put your head on my shoulder
    Whisper in my ear, baby
Words I want to hear, baby
Put your head on my shoulder

It appeared to be beyond simply working for position. He deserved the
    penalty.

  7. Congratulations are in order for McEwen's comment on Commisaires. He
said that "by the way, the commisairs don't race and don't do
sprints".. how true this is.. how many commisaires are in fact
"clueless" as to what racing is truly about and what it is truly like
either out on the road in the team car; and this at every level of
    racing!

I thought it was pretty clear that McEwen was holding O'Grady back
with his head. If holding people back is ok then they might as well be
able to grab the other guy and sling themselves forward.

It would be one thing if this was just bumping and edging each other
but when you're actually putting force that moves you ahead and them
behind.... it's a little over the line.

  9. I wasn't getting into the sprint finish... only McEwen's comments after
    the race.

Who started leaning on who first is a different issue, but McEwen made
some interesting comments after the race.

I certainly can't disagree with the sentiment.

Which he's almost better at then holding a line in a sprint. Nice
    relegation though.....

  12. As far as slings go - if you saw the Giro last year, the arm-sling
McEwen got from his teammate was pretty much the coolest part of the
race. The commissare's saw it, and he got relegated, but it was pretty
    damn cool.
