I am a 39 year old woman at 5'1" and 140 lbs. My doctor said I should
wegh under 100 lbs to be good size with my small stature. I begin to
eat under 1000 kkal a day Monday 6-13. I use a postal scale to verify
all quantities, and only water is not recorded. I used a elliptical
trainer 6 days a week and it reads 250 kkals when I stop. Every other
day I a;lso have a triner push me on universal machines until I am
exhaused. About 90 minutes. This seems liek a lot of work and little
food and I am 140 lbs still. I don't understand.Jeannie
Group(s),
I've been away for a couple weeks, and missed all of the festivities!
Anyway, I lost almost 10 lbs in the last two weeks. :-))) I have
more energy and feel better than I have in years!
At my doctor's advice, I had been pushing high fiber foods, and
drinking what seems like gallons of water each day. It seems I had
several "wooshes" both so...d and li..id. I was in the toilet more
than usual. Each day I lost 1-2 pounds!
I also believe I was eating more than I thought and not exercising as
much as I thought. I will take the doctor's advice of 100lbs as a
general statement, and not a concrete goal. I will get body fat
measurements when I get to less than 120lbs, and compare to charts of
what is healthy.
