get out of bed early on a Sunday. Maybe if it's not too cold. This
winter has been remarkably warm in Brisbane so far really except for a
few days.Bruce.

I might join you Bruce, if I can spare the time, and if my legs still work
after saturday arvo's TT. Just put the aero bars on for a spin tomorrow,
geez I hope nobody mistakes me for a triathlete 🙂Adam

HPRW Century and Half Century Rides
This Sunday 10th July - 6.30am SHARP.
Departure is from Lakeside Clubhouse. Visitors are welcome - this might be
a good opportunity to get a riding acquaintance interested club racing. You can choose to do either the Half Century or Century rides (sorry these
are miles.....not kilometres!). We definitely ride in a group; no-one will
be left behind. The route is the same as for 2004 i.e. Lakeside to Kilcoy and return for the
Century. The Half Century will follow the same course and turn at the 40km mark and
return to the clubhouse. It is expected that the normal sausage sizzle will follow the event.

A few very notably cold days. Thankfully few. I am starting to doubt my
ability to do a century... 60km (50 of that on hills) plus a 2 hr track
session today have left my legs with not much juice... oh wait, there's
still a few days to Sunday... -

ITT *shudder*. Sorry Tam it's one of the very few closed to club
competitions this year. It's at closeburn between Samford and Dayboro.Sounds like you had fun at the velodrome. I've only done it once too, it's a
spin out that's for sure. Did you have a brain burp like me and forget to
pedal? (only did it once that's for sure!)You'd probably be right for the century it's just like a long cafe ride, not
fast at all. It's a good way to find out if your saddle suits you though 🙂Adam

closed... oh no..." hahahahaQuoted message said:

in the saddle, it doesn't matter! I like the enforced spin after
efforts!Quoted message said:

though, not the dozer. Start is a bit far out of my way though -
Balmoral is doing one that starts just past my front door (okay, about 5
km away, but close enough) heading towards the Gold Coast (which also
sounds a bit nice and flat, doesn't it?) or I might be too drunk from
the night before; see it's a nice hilly stage on Saturday night so we're
getting together for some serious drinkies and excitement.Tam
