Who's going to hurt more tomorrow is the question I am asking myself. Lance has probably just burned
up adrenalin from the crash, and Ullrich didn't really like almost stopping and starting up again.
I'm giving up predicting whats going to happen next. I need a rest day!

Yes, but that was a TT - the final TT is on Saturday this year. Could it be that the Ullrich lunge
to gain the 8 sec for third today is what wins it on Saturday?

God damd ITV2!

I was around at my Dad's place to watch the hour evening show when the OnDigital signal decided it
was going to give up the ghost and I spent the best part of the hour trying to find a clear UHF
channel and then retuning the channels!!!

I'll be taping the show overnight but as I am off to France first thing in the morning I doubt I'll
be able to watch it until my return next Monday.

Dunno - there's today and the time trial were bigger gaps could open up. You'd think the last day
would only be decisive if the gap is only a matter of seconds - hard to see either Armstrong or
Ullrich getting away from the other on the flat.

That's possible, so theoretically it could be won or lost on the last stage. However, no matter how
close they are after Saturday that's the way it will stay.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if Ullrich got away from Armstrong on the last mountain stage tomorrow.
There are two first cat climbs after all. Maybe Botero and some other strong riders will get away
early and give Ullrich a springboard off the last big climb. Armstrong's team would have to organise
the chase and ........

That was vintage Armstrong, and I'm sure it was entirely designed to demoralise Ullrich by reminding
him of Alpe d'Huez and watching Lance's back wheel disappearing into the distance.

He tried, and tried well. Ullrich got away on the Tourlmalet, but Armstrong pulled him back.
