I've just always thought that LWBs could look sexier and deserved a model that had a curvy chopper Stingray look. The Sun Sport isn't cool enough---but it's close.
A few years ago I saw the HB Cruiser, which disappeared, then I saw the GT Dyno Roadster and thought they'd make a great LWB conversion project. I rode one and just wanted to have one 'as is.' They cruise perfectly. ---But if you added a seat with a back---like an ER Cobra, maybe---and some swept-back monkey bars, I think you'd get a dandy LWB out of it for $500 max. The Roadsters are available here and there for about $350.
Anyway, I just saw this eBay auction for a bare Roadster-style frame. Now THAT's cool!

I rode one awhile, as I said, and thought it was fine. Much better than I expected, as stock. My other suggestion involves modifications that might greatly improve the already good rideability of the GT Dyno Roadster. But when I test-rode one I thought, Heck I'll just leave it alone! Still...converting one or adapting its frame seems like a cool project. --JP
Actionbent introduced a LWB (MantaRay) that looks like a "stretch cruiser" with a recumbent seat. Heck, that seat could probably be used in other stretch cruiser/recumbent conversion projects if made available separately.
I think that a 'cool' seat would be minimal and solid---not mesh. We need the chopper vibe. It would also be lower and 'cleaner' to the frame---but it looks like the seat can adjust downward from the website photo of the MantaRay. I'm also not totally convinced about small front wheels for cruiser/chopper-style bikes. It might also be helpful to get the stem/bars coloration to match. Style bikes (as in the motorcycle biz) pay a lot of attention to looks. Benters could make BIG gains by doing the same! --JP

I agree with most of what you have said, I own an EZ-Sport myself and I really like the looks of it. What downgrades the look of any bent is the strutted seat tends to make them look like a wheelchair. I've gotten many compliments on the EZ though and frankly I like her curves!
