  1. The Lake Nockamixon Century, SCU's fall ride, underwent some big changes in
2004, including a new date in August instead of mid-September and a new
starting location (Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown).

Start from Central Bucks West High School, 375 West Court Street,
    Doylestown, PA 18901 and ride 23, 40, 50, 63, 85, or 100 miles on rolling
terrain with a few hills. (Distances are approximate and are subject to
change.) All rides visit Lake Galena, and now even 40-mile riders make it to
scenic Lake Nockamixon. Registration includes marked route, cue sheet, rest
stops, SAG support, and a post-ride meal. Rest stops have a large assortment
of home-baked snacks. Winner of LAB's "Best Century" award. Suburban
Cyclists Unlimited, P.O. Box 401, Horsham, PA 19044; phone 215-234-0170.
