Are there any guide lines for physicians to prescribe medicines based on
levels of BG and A1C are do they start experimenting one drug after the
    other.
I think there is a certain relationship between diabetes and
hypertension . I find my BP is elevated when my BG is also elevated .
Are there seperate class of medications available to club both diabetes
    and hypertension ?

No, it is not the defintiive guide. No such thing exists. YMMV

Is that a commandment, or advice? Sounds like the first
    ..
Do you know what YMMV means?

BTW i have read the book, and some -- but only some -- of it is very useful
for me - but NOT absolute for everyone. YMMV

Yeah, it usually means that there is a jerk on the other end of the
    keyboard.

There isn't a diabetic soul on this earth who would not thrive on
Bernstein's plan. That some people can squeeze by with other methods
(and probably many more are fooling themselves) is irrelevant. His
methods WILL work for everyone. Everyone (including myself) might not
be completely happy on the plan but it DOES always work.

    John, almost bernstein-ite.

All the other doctors are also being fooled as well, do you think? i don't
decide whether i am doing well, my endo decides that.

i see you snipped the bit where i said some of his advice worked for me, nor
did you comment with *snip*. i also know what to think of your insolent
comment about *jerk* -- and everyone else can make up there own mind.
