Outlook Express. And you get the added bonus of being less vulnerable to virus

It has gotten to the point where I find him an amusing idiot. It is kind of
like listening to Howard Stern except that Stern with his first amendment
bent is sometimes poignant. I am not a Howard Stern fan, however, and I
don't go out of my way to listen to him. Likewise I am not an Ed Dolan fan.

If his greatest pleasure in life is posting idiotic messages that is fine
with me. There are still plenty of on-topic discussions in this ng.

Mostly at this point, I pity Ed. There is no use in responding to him
although he can be interesting to observe and talk about.

He is like the screaming homeless people that you sometimes see. You don't
want to look but your attention is drawn to them. Ultimately you realize
that they are crazy and you stay away.

The one med that works every time for me is a bit of the old vino. I have to
be careful that it doesn't raise my blood pressure, but other than that it
mellows me out just fine. The best vino I have ever discovered is Livingston
Cellars Red Rose. It is the cheapest vino in the world, but it has a nice
vino taste and it never gives me a headache.

Beer is OK when it is very hot and humid, but I have never really liked
beer. Vino is the nectar of the gods and has always been considered a
hallmark of a high civilization. If it was good enough for the ancient
Romans, it is good enough for me.

I can make that description work for me. My mother did not believe. As a
result I was not raised "Jewish". There was no Bar Mitzvah, no Jewish
education, nothing really. By the time I became and adult and could choose
for myself, it was not something that I could really believe in although I
must confess much more ignorance in this area than knowledge.

Generally I don't like to stereotype. As for the Arabs, there are some that
want me dead because I'm a Jew regardless of what I believe. There are some
that want me dead because I'm an American regardless of what I believe. And
there are many that are ordinary decent people.

The same thing can be said of many nationalities. The Nazis taught us that a
charismatic tyrant can get ordinary decent people to at best ignore atrocity
and at worst participate. People are easily taught to hate and to see the
world as "us" vs. "them". Once hate has been taught it is hard although not
impossible to teach peace and tolerance. Children, on the other hand, learn
to accept each other easily. They have to be taught to hate.
