    Hi - hopefully somebody has some ideas or has solved this problem before.

    I recently put Ultegra 6600 cranks on my bike as part of a new 10 speed group. I lubed the inside of the bearing cups (where axle rotates) and the outer surface edge of the bearing cups (where inside of crank arm would cover) as recommended by the shop.

    Still, I have this annoying creak/squeak that will not go away. Has anyone else run into this problem? Any recommendations on how to quiet these cranks? Thanks for any help!

    yea, tighten the crank bolt, that will resolve your problem.

    Check the torque on the bb and crank bolts. If they're tightened properly, then the noise is probably coming from your pedals.
