  1. Not much luck Googling. Anyone have a recipe (or link) for one of
    those "complete nutrition" drinks?

Nestles has a powder (instant breakfast? - also KLIM) you mix
yourself... also Horlicks... and Ovaltine... and there are various
powders available from nutritional supply stores (GNC.com).

But what is it you hope to accomplish in making those canned food
suppliments yourself... you definitely won't save any money but you can
certainly create a better tasting product.

  3. No, but you can read the list of ingredients on the can. I would say
get a can of condensed milk, add sugar and fresh strawberries or banana
and a crushed multivitamin pill, liquidize the whole lot in a food
    processor, and away you go.

Ensure is dairy free, isn't it? For people without lactose problems,
Carnation Instant Brekkie is much cheaper.

  6. If condensed milk is used, I don't think you would want to add
sugar--that stuff is sweet enough as is. Now evaporated milk is
    another story.
