scooters and mentions that their operators killed eight pedestrians
last year.
In the "comments" section someone claims that cyclists are more
dangerous to pedestrians. Some may like to point out that this
comment is wrong...

It actually says they were involved in eight fatalities - how many of these
were the scooter rider? (I suspect most).

Non-members of urbancyclist-uk will not get this reference. Suffice it
to say that on the basis of one person's posts it appears to be the
most dangerous place in the country to cycle!
