Yes, but plan on sitting down and following the printed procedure very carefully. I recently reset a buddie's HAC4. He handed me the unit and direction sheet after giving up. The directions come in 12 languages, but Aussie wasn't one of them

That's very interesting. I was under the impression that it wasn't possible to switch between metric and imperial - isn't that why the HAC 4 comes in 2 different models?

Don't know anything about the models, but the one my aussie buddy has does both modes. It's about 3 years old I believe. He had inadvertently switched his to metric units and asked me to switch it back to miles.

He was stuck on metric for a few months. Several people told him just leave it, that metric is the correct setting for cycling. And, it was good practice at the end of our rides to translate distances and average speeds back to miles. Who knows, maybe someday the whole world will go to SI units....I'm ready.
