My GPS says it was 88km, so take off a few for the ferry trip and I reckon that's still just over 50 miles. My longest ride before this was in the low 40 miles. It took me 6 hours (plus about 30 minutes waiting for and on the ferry) so not exactly rocket-powered but 8mph seems to be my average for when I'm on a ride and stopping for drinks/malt loaf etc.
