If Heinz Verdouchebag, [censored] Poundupmy ass, or other agencies take one or two Tour victories away from Lance, imagine the scenario that Lance decides to ride the Tour again. He would come back and wreak devastation on the peloton, and it would not even be funny.
Basso and Ullrich had better watch what they say and pray he is really retired. Talk about great comebacks...

That would actually be rather interesting. But its not going to happen - because no ones taking any titles away from Lance. L'Equipe have done their bit , theyve planted the smoking gun. They will now disappear and let everyone draw their own conclusions. As for WADA , when [censored] takes his first out of his [censored] , he will realise this makes them look BAD.So it'll blow over.
Actually, L'Equipe didn't plant a smoking gun. They planted a toy gun and stuck a smoke bomb under it.
i say this with no bias at all...but the french sentiments toward armstrong really are pathetic.
so bady do they want to bring a successful end to their seasons-old accusations of drug use by lance and USPS that they are still fishing through 6 year old urine samples of a now retired athlete.
they need to get real and run a few features on why french cycling is in crisis, why a frenchman hasnt won the tour since the 80's, and why they struggle every year just to get a guy in the top 10. but without takign the easy route and suggesting "because all the other nations are doping and they arent" (yeah right.)
Can't you see these tests of old samples as a good thing in terms of developing better tests? I believe these tests are not enough to take away anything from Lance or other riders but these tests may help developing new and better(cheaper and more accurate) tests. Armstrongs credibility may have taken a blow here but maybe he will come out and defend himself?
p.s. As far as I understood this, WADA has nothing to do with this case because it didn't even excist in 1999.
It would be funny to see Lance come back again and just crush everyone like he always has. One last gotcha!
Buts lets just say he was guilty of doping... Im not saying he is so don't start forum flaming..... but what if he did dope and came back to try and prove people wrong. And was terrible. Example... all those baseball players, Bonds, Giambi, etc... now that would be bad.
I dont think he should come back. He proved all he had to and doesnt need to prove to anybody else how good he is. He's already proved it to himself.
As far as Ulrich and Basso... I agree with the post above. They've all highly respected each other and there hasnt been an ounce of animosity towards one another.

🙂 🙂 🙂
if the victories will be taken away because of epo-doping he will not be allowed to start at the tour (like pantani after the epo suspicion). and after the things he said today about leblanc he can forget the tour for ever!

There are more accurate adjectives that one could use to describe you - Clairvoyant (a nice french word) not being one of 'em.
Bite me.
"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone!!!!!"
You have to admit, from calling Lance out onto Larry King 5 days before he did, to predicting a return to racing for the man from Texas, I am clairvoyant.
I don't think he should come back to cycling. Who cares what L'Equipe said? I do not give a damn. I believe on the guy. He is my inspiration for life. This is something nobody can take away from me.
It sounds like he's bored already. Maybe he was part of this whole thing...
That is crazy. Armstrong did not have anything to do with this whole drug issue.
But boy have they [censored] him off. He is going to be training with the team this winter and it looks likely that he will do an eighth tour - just to [censored] the French media off. Give it to them Lance! 😄
