  1. My daughter, who is 12 years now suffered a foot sprain during
November 2004 when she was returning home.X-ray was taken, the Ortho
specialist treated the same as if there was no fracture and pain
subsided. But after few months, the swelling was noticed and again the
same ortho was visited who was shown the X-ray again, he again
gavemedicine but on finding that she is still not being cured, visited
another Orthosurgeon, who took afesr X-ray and said that there was a
fracture and foot should have been immobilized at first instance. He
gave medicine Voveran 100 Once and Calcium. Another consultaion was
made with the 3 rd Orthosurgeon who again took X-ray and reduced /
splitted the Voveran to 50 mg BD and added Histac 100. The pain after
three days of medication has yet not subsided. What should be done ?
Watch for one month as advised by the ortho or some other consultaion
is to be made ? The fracture is at the base of 5th Metatarasal bone of
    Right Foot.

  2. this is a running group, not a medical group.

  3. Its a fracture - she needs to stay off it or it will not heal, especially on
the 5th Metatarsal bone. I could take months for a complete healing. See a
    real doctor.

Sorry, it's a running AND trash-da-prez group. I propose we rename it
    that.
