For a family still grieving over the loss of a husband and father, this was one "detour" the Weaver family did not see coming. On Feb. 8, 2004, Ormond Beach's Roy Weaver, a track worker at Daytona International Speedway, was struck and killed by a race car during a Speed Weeks event.
