just becuase you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you., but if the us continues on it's body bagged trail of the dead,
it makes sense to know how to object. ask your local recruiter how it is going, what tactics they are resorting to, and what the success rate is, see what lies you get.

I believe the bill about bringing back the draft 9 months ago that was being presented to the House was drafted by the Democrats. And failed badly.

Have you ever known a conscientious objector? I have . Actually not only do I know a few, but some of my closest friends were during Viet-Nam. Being a conscientious objector locks you into a certain lifestyle the rest of your life. Only die=hard liberals will accept you. Your dealing with the public is limited to working in coffee shops and used book stores for the rest of your life. My friends that were conscientious objectors discovered after the war hysteria died, people move on but they never forget what you did. They may have supported them at the time, but later they look differently at you.
I had one friend that never could get his business's off the ground due to the fact once his customers found out , they moved on.

there are other numerous concerns, physical, mental, and spiritual that will affect your life forever as well, it is up to those 14.1 million who are terrorized by the issue of selective service cards to know and excersize their options.
there are 65 coffins and 200 amputations per month acording to a 60 minutes piece on us veterans injury wards.
should one be faced with this decision, you may put your first loyalty to yourself, your loved ones, and yes, your future as being of able mind and body body to be a productive member of society, or you may place your loyalty in support of a criminal syndicate in a war with no legal or patriotic basis.

in regards to your mention of "this bill 9 mo.s back",

I never would state when you vote for a dem of repub you are voting for anything other than your favorite pro war candidate, just look at the record, with few exception, but here is the twist of this bill, hr163, draw your own conclusion over it crashed so heavily at the time. perhaps the poverty draft will hold them in stead for a while yet...

this is the legislation repubs feared kerry would support...the sons and daughters of the priveleged weathy, who have known preferential treatment in avoiding military service without enduring the social stigma of being an objector which you are so concerned of, would now be on the same list as those with names such as hector, lamont and susan.
