Last week I found a really cool alternative to the livestrong bracelets. Of course, this is a more expensive alternative... but I must admit that the idea is great. The alternative: a locket containing an authentic piece of Lance Armstrong's Tour de France WORN jersey.
I purchased one of these on EBAY for my cousin who was recently diagnosed with TC. I suggested to the seller that he should give a fraction of the proceeds to the Livestrong Foundation. He likes the idea so I am helping him to set that up and making sure it gets done so that money goes to the cause.

I saw an opportunity to support the livestrong community. As I said, I am currently working with the seller. If you doubt my efforts, please do not purchase one. If you are interested and need the guarentee, do not purchase one until I have setup the donation scheme for this seller. The fact is, the seller never even considered making contributions. I think it should be a GIVEN based on what he is selling. I'm just trying to see that it gets done. If you or your family and friends would prefer to give your donations directly to the Livestrong Foundation, please DO!! It's probably a lot easier. I will see to it that this seller follows through on the donations and that is all I can do. I apologize if you were at all inconvenienced!
