  1. I am in a state of bicycle disgruntlement at the moment.

Monday morning: It's pissing with rain and it's first day back at work after a holiday. Cycling down a hill and hear an ominous creaking noise shortly followed by a loud snap and a very uncomfortable sensation of a seat post being where it shouldn't.
I had a very severe wobble down the road and a driver up my [censored] (a bit like the seatpost) nearly went into the back of me. I then slid of the seatpost and it gave me a great bruise all up my stomach.
The allen bolt holding my seat bracket together decided to snap this morning. Never mind your discussion threads about wearing helmets, how should us cyclists protect our anuses against saddle pins? 😠

The same way we protect our tax dollars from the politicians. Or is it the same way politicians protect themselves from thier constituents? The latter parallels a bit more nicely with your question.

I use two saddles. Insert the seat post of the first one into your anus facing backwards, then simply position the saddle on top of the one on your bike.

Voila. No possibility of unexpected anal plunder.

Of course, I do have to wear special trousers. 🙄

  4. Being the manly man I am .... I carry spare bolts for seat, stem, brake, and even a spare pair of pedals just in case.

Is this going to turn into another debate about greasing carbon seat posts?

Tony, Where are you in the Valley?? I am in Basso. 😎

  16. Well, after yesterdays anal trauma, I borrowed my partner's clunky old mountain bike with all its girly accoutrements. It has the sproingiest, squidgiest saddle I've ever encountered which my seat post battered [censored] appreciated.

How good did it feel then to go screaming past a couple of lycra clad buffoons on their flash road bikes this morning?

hahahaha get some exercise losers 😄

  17. thats exactly why i always leave my [censored] at home when i go cycling...

i once had a seat clamp bolt break once when i was on the bike. The seat tube suddenly shot down inside the frame...no damage done it was just a bit weird and unexpected.

Apparently, the best way to remove your [censored] is to unscrew the belly button. I may have to look in to a quick release model though.

    WRONG!!! SO WRONG!!😠

I have my [censored] secured by old bicycle chain, wrapped in a innertube.

There are too many crooks around.😄
