  1. I'm kinda new to for servicing, so bear with me. I have no rebound dampening anymore. Also, it's
blowing oil onto the rim, haven't figured out where it's coming from yet, the seals or the fork leg
bottom. Is there a rebound cylinder rebuild kit?

    Thanks, Bruce.

Bro.....I'm not even going to say it (clinching fists and grinding teeth).

Anyway, give Answer a call 661-257-441 if you haven't already.

OK, OK, I get the idea.

I was looking for something like "piece of cake, just get the kit from answer" or, "royal PITA,
    send it in".

  4. Easy dude just undo the top cap screw them off the compression shafts and pull the lowers away from
the outers. Check the end cap seal and wiper seals are not damaged, put some oil back in the outers,
check the fluid level in the TPC leg (highly unlikely that the seal has gone but if you have lost
damping is possible, guaranteed for two years against leaks).

You can upgrade the seals to evil genius that offer better sealing properties, all to complicated
got to www.answer.com Are the forks nice to ride otherwise??

This is what I wanted to hear. Unfortunately when I called manitou, they said to just send them
back, which I already did. Grrrr.

Nice to ride is an understatement. They make every other single crown that I've ridden feel chattery
and harsh. They do wonders for one's confidence too. My new mantra: "If I can hang on, I can make
it" :-) Seriously though, they are sooo forgiving. I've lost it on a few spots and headed off trail
into big ruts/rocks/whatever thinking "this is gonna hurt".... I get a couple of big sqoinch sounds
out of it, but I'm fine, still on the bike with a stupid grin on my face. I can take lines now that
used to feel like they were going to rip your arms off. Now I just lean back and float over it.

If you're the guy that recommended them when I asked about it a few months ago, thanks!!! Good
    recommendation.

The guys at Manitou will have a few upgrades they can throw in the fork for the TPC leg which will
make the fork run more reliabily in the future. Glad they ride nice, have always wanted a pair but
would not suit my hard tail.

    Happy trails
