    Thanks for the link. Interesting read. The last line is: "... one and three-quarter miles over that same 100-mile ride".

    At 50km/hr ... that would be a saving 0.87km/hr. At my speed (42kph) I would save 69" over a 40km TT.

    I would dearly love this to be true :p

    when Lemond won Le Tour didn´t the research say a second a km ?

    problem is we don´t ride in a wind tunnel and all that turbulence caused by traffic , side winds etc tends to screw up the calculations a tad .
    in general if you think it´s faster it probably will be , placebo effect , but maybe not a notable amount .
