    Does anyone have experience with the Vittoria Open Pave tires? They are the 700 x 24 clincher version of the famed tubular that is ridden in the Spring Classics by some ProTour teams such as CSC, Liquigas, Fassa Bortolo and RaboBank.

    Now I fear that compared to my Continental Gator Skins (700 x 28), these will be faster and feel better but are more likely to puncture.

    Does anyone have any experience with both brands of tires?

    I am riding a 100K ride on Sunday, and I have one wheelset with my Conti Gator Skins, and I just put the Vittorias on the other wheelset tonight. I am going to go for a test ride on the Vittorias tomorrow, but would love to hear what others have experienced.

    Wow! What a great tyre. I ride the Open Pave CG all winter and it is superb. Very fast, very responsive, excellent grip and semingly indestructible!

    And its a great colour too!!!
