My brother-in-law, an established personal trainer in his hometown, has just started a website. He knows his stuff, and I think it could be useful to those looking to lose weight or gain muscle. Check it out and let him know what you think. He will answer any questions if you have them. 🙂
Also, you can see him working out by going to video.google.com and typing in either "deadlift" or "squat." On of his videos has him deadlifting 455lbs for 15 reps - very impressive. Anyway, please do stop by and check it out.

Acquainted with them? I know about some of them, yes. But have never done them , no. I do happen to train harder than most people I know however. I also educate myself constantly on better ways of training. Not to mention the last 15 years of training. If you asked me 10 years ago if I'd be able to do the things I'm doing now, I would have shared your outlook and said not without some "juice". Ignorance is a funny thing isn't it.

I'm not so good at this computer stuff, that's why my brother-in-law set up the site for me. Put up a link to the "f/ups" over there and I'll be more than happy to reply

I thought it was a good website to establish your credibility and it takes guts to put your videos up. I wouldn't waste time responding to the uk newsgroup. Most of the stuff regarding your thread is non-constructive [censored] and Bully sounds like a [censored] in his post. We all have to deal with enough a-holes like that at work who can always criticize but don't have the balls to build something on their own so a-holes like them can come and take a swing.
I have a question about your deadlift form though. I can't DL anywhere near what you show, but your form seems to almost be a stiff-legged DL. Would your form be considered 'standard'?
As it gets heavy, yes. I should get my butt down a little lower but that's just my style. My stiff leggeds are STRICT, but I've done up to 405 on those as well. The main point is to keep your back STRAIGHT! If it rounds, your in for some [censored] down the road. Good luck and check out my Video and Pictures page. There is a new vid from this weekend of my 525 squat. A personal best.

Bollocks.
