  1. I was thinking of trying to speed up my cadence a bit, and since I
usually listen to some music while I'm running, I thought having a
bunch of songs at a specific pace might make it easier to speed things
    up.

Wondering if there are any lists of songs at 180 beats per minute,
    170, etc.

Looked on web, didn't find anything.

Hum "And the band played on" - you know, the one which starts "Casey
would waltz with a strawberry blonde." 180 +/- 3 bpm guaranteed or
    your money back.

Pendejo, who finds 3/4 and 6/8 time works best, and if your music
source is your own mind you can easily enough adjust the tempo to match
    your stopwatch

Check out some of these Tall Dwarfs songs:

Turning Brown + Torn in Two (good for going uphill)
Pirouette (coincides nicely with 15K pace)
The Slide (nice for 3/3 breathing)
Nothing's Gonna Happen (marathon theme song)

I suppose you use 3-3 breathing on your easy runs too ? I like 3/4 time for
that reason. If I have 4/4 music (in my mind, that is -- I don't use my MP3
    player much) I find breathing 3-3-2 works well (-;

    Cheers,
