Has anybody had any dealing with any Gary Fisher dealers when it comes to replacing a cracked alum
frame? The weld where the seat tube, top tube and seat stay meet has two horizontal cracks across
the weld at exactly the same spots on either side. The crack has already ran up the top tube and
extended past the weld. I was wondering how long I will be without a bike, I can't stand the thought
of that.......I guess I will have to find a loner until I get my problem resolved.

My Paragon cracked and was replaced under warranty; pain in the ass waiting (and my LBS was less
than helpful), but eventually it worked out.Bill "could be convicted of hardtail neglect" S.

If you need to repair frames etc. check out Pyrobike.com they are a company out of Vancouver, BC,
Canada that deal in frame repair, re-painting and heat treating aluminium frames. From what I have
heard, cost for the full treatment runs about $200 CAD.mark

SuperCal's are now 29'ers only, so I was given a Paragon frame. Everthing fit just fine and it's
been fine since.Assuming you're the original owner and registered the frame, you should have no issues getting a
replacement - also assuming it's not judged "abuse" by the local Fisher rep.Your LBS should be able to handle the replacement, but will likely charge you labor to
disassemble/reassemble and shipping/boxing charges. I took mine apart and boxed it up after they had
inspected it, paying only for shipping. -
