LOL! I'm a long timer lurker/learner here and a nightshift RN on a
cardiac intermediate (stepdown ) unit. People have often asked what we
find to do when all the patients are asleep. <BG> If I ever have a
night like that, I'll be most interested in finding out the answer
too!

May I offer profound thanks for all of the interesting reading ,
recipes, and quirks of human nature that I've learned about here?

me to get an appointment with a gerontologist.

(I'm not aiming my complaints at you, Pennyaline.) Also it's a Catch-22
with people on Medicare (which one has to have over 62); doctors are only
taking so many Medicare patients; they are full-up. It was better when I
was younger, had good insurance, and healthy; I could always get in. I
still have the same insurance, but Medicare has to be the deciding factor on
all occurrences.

LOL! I'm a long timer lurker/learner here and a nightshift RN on a

Having seen three family members through cardiac care and bypass surgery, I
