I head out to the Post Office to mail Xmas gifts. At the
counter the post office person your dressed for a blizzard well I had to
use alt. transportation. After leaving and in the parking lot rear tire
flat. Start fixing it and the Topeak Master Blaster comes apart in my
hands. Now the total trip which should have took 30 min after fixing
pump and flat took double that. Snow.

Ice storm Monday. Limbs broke on the powerlines; we're out of power a day
and a half. Heat pumps are great except when the electric goes.

Well, NYC got a few inches of snow overnight, switched to freezing
rain. Lovely.

The shaft came unsrcewed from the plunger. Couldn't get
it srcewed together till srcewing the lock nut back on. Good thing I'm
mechanically inclined. I sure didn't want to walk the 2 miles home or
the mile to the pumps.
