Jogging is the most exhiliarating activity but it causes so much
injury. Jogging cant be what nature wants us to be doing or we would be
more adapted to it. Or maybe we should run barefoot. Getting tired of
always being injured.

these adaptations are neglected. Use it or lose it - something
shown in the human body all the time, physically and mentally.
Just because humans have evolved to call running a natural
activity doesn't mean you can suddenly get up and run a lot.Quoted message said:

I've been there. It sucks. Sometimes it seems a bunch of injuries
come at once. Perhaps taking a month off, or getting into some
biking or swimming for a while would help, if it's an overuse
sort of injury from specific running motion.cheers,

I think running injuries tend to be more minor, but when a "sed" gets
sick it tends to be a very serious illness. We may get injured more
often, but our injurys are seldom life-threatening./ ~ \

i wonder if there is such a word as sedentariness. no one is saying
being sedentary is healthy. biking, walking, hiking, sports etc keep
you in good shape without causing injuries. -

What others merely wonder about, The Bad Guy knows:
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/sedentaryIt would seem that you may need to stick to sports that aren't beyond
your ability; for many of us, however, running is on that list. Learn
to aspire to a goal rather than belittle it and perhaps one day you too
could be a runner; I doubt it, though.Did you need the address of a good "wimpiness" newsgroup?
