  1. i have started to increase intensity a bit and my sore legs have gone away maybe i should have kept the intensity higher all winter, has anyone ever felt worse going easier? it does not make sense to me

  3. Could be better Type IIA muscle cells recruitment. That's just a game guess, not bullet proof.

What about training load? Up or down? If load is up, I suspect the soreness wasn't due to training.

Oh yeah. At levels less than say 70% of FT, I tend to get achy on the bike. Once I start picking it up it goes away. It's only on the bike though, not afterwards. I've never figured it out, but I think it's a state of mind kind of thing.

i was sore on and off the bike for about 3 months (octnovdec)nothing excruitiating but just like every ride felt like it was a six hour ride even if it was a half hour easy ... it was very strange to feel pain at 65 watts of np

  11. I know on my off days I've been amazed at the level of effort required to put out substantially less power so I can appreciate your comment. I guess I've assumed its due to me riding outside my normal cadence rate (either higher or lower), but I admit to being a bit confused myself with this.

yes perceived exertion is amazing, i think i will have to introduce some block training even during base into my schedule so i can feel good a few days in a row or maybe i might feel even worse! yikes
