should visit before you die, or the "100" things you should do before you
die. I was wondering what would be included in the "100" meals or food I
should eat before I die. I have never had a pizza delivered to my house,
and
I have never drank a martini.
Depending on where you live, delivered pizza might be best
avoided. It had come to my attention at some point that there
are people in the midwest who think domioes is pizza, and good
pizza at that. Just sayin.
Can't speak for the martini, what are they, gin? I hate gin.
My list of nottobemissed would not be very sophisticated, it'll
be interesting to see what people come up with.

Soooooooo? Are we gonna start listing favorites or not?! LOL
I won't list a 100 but two of my nottobemissed would be:
Artichokes w/Bearnaise Sauce
Hmmm... actually, type the above 100 times and it could be my top 100 ! LOL
Below is how I make the sauce to go with the artichokes. You can prepare
the artichokes a multitude of times but I usually boil mine with lemon
slices...
Bearnaise Sauce
2 TBSP Red Wine Vinegar
1 1/2 tsp chopped Green Onion
1 1/2 tsp Tarragon
1/8 tsp cracked Black Pepper
4 Egg yolks
3/4 cup Butter, softened
1 TBSP Parsley
1. In top of a double-boiler (d-b), combine first 4 ingredients. Over high
heat, heat to boiling. Boil until vinegar is reduced in half.
2. Place top of d-b unit over bottom unit with hot, not boiling, water. Add
yolks, and cook, beating constantly with whisk until slightly thickened.
3. Add butter, about 2 TBSP at a time, beating constantly with whisk, until
butter is melted and mixture is thickened. Stir in parsley.
Hmmm... actually, type the above 100 times and it could be my top 100 ! LOL
Homemade Yeast rolls
Homemade Yeast rolls
7 1/2 oz warm water
3 1/2 - 4 cups all purpose flour
3 1/2 TBSP sugar
3/4 tsp salt
3 TBSP butter
2 TBSP powdered coffee creamer
2 tsp instant dry yeast
Mix and let rise - punch down and place in the fridge overnight. Shape as
desired, let rise, brush with butter before and immediately after baking.
