  1. I am having a suprisingly hard time finding a 26 X 1.75 slick for use with a stationary trainer. Plenty of street training slicks, but nothing for a trainer. I'm using a "slick" the bike shop gave me with the trainer, but it's got enough tread to be noisier than it should be. Any one see something like this? Thanks

    I use a kenda kross. It's 26x1.95 and looks like this ...

The knobby sides never get close to the roller.

  3. For trainers, its not tyre size, its pressure. Buy a Conti 26x1 GP for the trainer wheel. Inflate it to 100psi, I have one here on a MTB wheel, it is perfect. http://www.conti-online.com/generator/www/de/en/continental/bicycle/themes/tires/mtb/grand_prix_mtb/grand_prix_mtb_en.html
