Heya guys, what do you all think about cycling bibs? What are the pros and cons versus just shorts? I have an option of getting either for a difference of $15.

Bibs all the way. Search the forum, lots of posts on the debate. Bibs are way more comfy, give you a better fit.

Bibs for me too. The shorts dig into my waist and I didn't even feel how much they hindered my deep respiration (hills) until I tried the bibs. Get one pair and I'll bet you let the shorts wear out switching gradually to bibs.

Bibs, no contest.
No waist band annoyance. You feel 'complete'. Sometimes you can't even tell you are wearing anything...

Couldn't agree with this statement more, bibs feel much better. The big downfall I find is that they make it much more difficult to take a quick pee break.
I once saw a Hells Angels biker go up to a cyclist at a convience store- and try to "pants" him , but the cyclist had (pink) Bibs on 🙂 . Gotta protect your neck out there folks 😉
