About 10 riders rode in the rain and I was one of them. Well, I had chosen to be one of the early starters but apparently that turned out to be the wrong choice. So, mission impossible. Can't say anything about it, except I felt very well. I had good power I think, although I can't know for sure. Still 7 days to make up for lost time. Definitely a lot of frustrations, I'll tell you that.
