    There are currently tickets for sale on melbourne2006.com.au for the
    track cycling 6pm 16/3/06 session. Prices appear to start at $75. My
    ticket was $95 and is in the lower level on s/f straight. Be quick...

    btw use this link https://ticketing.melbourne2006.com.au/sales to get
    to the ticketing site. The ticket availability on the main page is
    currently incorrect.

    Ticketmaster is hopeless, here is the great message tonight..after 9 attempts all saying availability and all not doing much more than wasting our time...

    Seems to be working ok now. The site must have got busy after the

    Good thing I'm off to the Kierins tomorrow night!

    Good thing we know a friend who scored tix to Saturday nights track finals. Now the only worry is to lock the bike in the designated area.... :o

    should be plenty of space in the middle of the track 😄

    PS My bad. CGames did in fact buy ONLY 645 bikeparking thingies off BV, not the 6.5k i thought i had read... 🙁

    Re: the tix, you're welcome 😉) But bike parking near Vodafone could be
    mildly problematic. I rode past there yesterday & stopped at the info
    booth to ask where the official parking area was. The volunteer working
    there said "I didn't know there was any bike parking here". Sheesh...
    and his info booth was located within 200m of where the games website
    says the parking is meant to be. He told me just to lock up to a fence
    rail, and he was unaware of that bikes could be removed if they were
    parked in the wrong spot. I had to tell him about that.

    Gonna do another recce today... now that the games have actually
    started, hopefully there might be more volunteers working there, and
    hopefully one of them knows the answer!
