    I'm stuggle to find a pump that could put 220psi into my tubular tyre.
    The maximum psi I've seen on any pump is 170. Any suggestions?

    Silca Pista/Super Pista are rated 230/240psig. No experience with what they will actually achieve.

    The laws of physics can't be broken regardless of who makes the pump. The maximum pressure output of any hand pump depends on the person using it. It's a simple force/area equation.

    If your pump has a 1 sq/in bore, you are going to have to push downward with 220 pounds of force to get 220 psi. If you don't weigh 220 lbs, you can't do it. If the bore is only 1/2 sq/in, you only need to push with 110 lbs of force, but you'll need to use twice as many strokes to get the volume that you need.

    Just to satisfy my own curiosity, why do you think that you need 220 psi?

    good floor pump, with the gauge on the ground so if it falls over it won't break.
