  1. Completely parochial, I know, so I apologise to anyone who thought
    "Where's Bracknell?". On the other hand, those who thought "I ride down
    there often. What's going on?" may be interested.

    I learn from my local paper that Peacock Lane will be widened, but that
    they're planning a segregated cycle path. I commute daily along that
    road. So, feeling that this will simply increase motor traffic speeds
    to the safety detriment of all road users and increase aggression
    towards cyclists on the road, I decided to write to Bracknell Forest
    Borough Council to explain to them the error of their (high)ways. I'm
    sure it'll be futile.

    Perhaps I've reached that time in my life where I rail impotently
    against all the injustices visited on the little man by all those
    invulnerable, unpersuadable corporate entities?
