what an outstanding event! and great work by all the volunteers and support crews. we can't thank you enough.
what hard riding it was. that wind was relentless and completely soul destroying. thanks to the mob wearing the freedom machine kits for letting myself and my riding partner sit on the back of them. out squad was small and some members were a bit "underdone".
i was in the team outpatients group. we drove up from melbourne on the friday afternoon and drove home from port fairy on the sunday arvo.
