interesting subject... not quite for the very faint at heart. I'm
actually feeling the pain of my worst fall as i type. Yesterday i
jumped on to a rock (the highest jump i have ever made so far) and the
fell when trying to get of the rock. I sprained or broke my wrist it
hurts a lot but i don't really feel like going to see a doctor or w/e.

Mine happened yesterday, my ankle is either sprained or has been
fractured, I'm going to the hospital today in a few hours to get it
checked =p then i can vote when i get back

today was my worst fall, i was going down this path section by the sea
wall, on the some grass and it's diped from wear. Hit a but wrong my
uni goes wheel forward, and drags be shin with it and makes me do one
hell of a split :o

well i'm bruised.

I've never had a crash that debilitated me. Among the more memorable
ones:

Steep MUni descent, came off sideways, feet slip on wet needles,
unicycle tire gets jammed in a rock, I get a Reeder handle in the
teeth.

California MUni Weekend, Downieville Downhill, my left Roach comes down
on an unspectacular forward fall, knee pain for the remaining 12 miles
of the descent, and swelling for a good while afterwards.

NAUCC 2002, trying seat-out-in-back, come off the front of the uni,
fall backwards and get a pedal in the kidneys.

And probably the most embarassing, on road on my 29er, racing a kid on
a BMX bike, lose it off the front, hit hard on both knees, including
that left one that is always prone to swelling since that Downieville
day. Significant road rash and swelling.

I was dropping/gapping onto a rail and my tire folded up on the rim(it
pinched the tire and popped it, i think the problem was not enough air
in the tire) and bounced me off the other side of the rail in an
awkward way, it wouldn't have been so bad had there not been an 8 foot
fall waiting for me on the other side. I broke my left arm, scraped up
my face, and had to get stitches on my hand and my head.

That was by far the worst fall I have ever had, the nurse who was
taking care of me in the emergency room thought I was joking when I
told her I did it on a uni.

The second worst i was jumping on top of a post, lost my footing fell
and knocked a tooth loose and split my lip. I think that was almost
more painful than the first...

I've had some nasty falls on my uni resulting in huge scrapes, and I
think I broke my wrist once, but didn't bother to go to the doctor to
find out...I just wrapped it, and it feels better now.

well yesterday i broke my wrist, i was riding along a rail, fell, and my
wrist hit the rail... i didnt worry and went to the hospital today and
got x-rays and a cast

i think the worst i've had is when i was trying to side hop a "V" shaped
pallet stack. i got almost to the top and slipped rather unexpectedly
and fell directly onto my crotch. i hit the side of my junk and bruised
my pelvis. i had a minor lump and some bruising for about 2 weeks. oh

well ive just started trying new stuff.. so... im just now starting to
fall... all the way down.. not just landing on my feet.. so.. yeah..
lots of palm cuts.. and forearm gouges... and.. knee bruises... and
metal pedals in the leg(cuts) twisted ancles.... but NO BROKEN
BONES.... yet... 🙂

Happened recently while trying to hop over a small log. During the hop,
I lost my balance backwards, while falling off, my right calf finds the
pins on my Snafus. It rips my skin upwards and forces the loose skin
flap up into the cut, leaving a lump.

I call my doctor's office to see if he can see me. While the
receptionist is asking another office girl, I hear in the background,
"have him go to the Hospital, we're getting ready to go to lunch." The
receptionist repeats that same message to me, then asks me to hold on.
This time she puts me on hold. The hold message comes on "At B....
Medical, our customers are very important to us" I get an appointment
right after their lunch break.

Doctor untucks skin flap and gives me 4 stitches.

The next day, I buy soccer shin pads to wear on the backs of my legs.

the worst fall i have had yet was on a bc wheel ... fell back a bruised
my hip ... not much but i did that like a week ago and it still kills
🙁 😄
